Chris Hardwick of Nerdist fame started his career as an MTV host of a game show. To the general viewing audience his biggest claim to fame would be the Talking Dead. He has also hosted a pretty popular interview podcast for the last five years. But what Chris Hardwick would like you to know is, that his first love is being a stand-up comedian.
He had been honing this material for the last two years and after releasing Mandroid in 2012 has brought you Funcomfortable. Chris has a high level of command of popculture especially of the comic/tv/movie variety and waxes and wanes from losing his father in 2015 to improving with the audience. He is light and quick and for those of us “nerds” of the 80’s and 90’s there is alot to connect to.
This is the first I have heard of a comedy special released April 30 and then given out free in podcast form by May 3rd so I say thanks to the comedy world which had nursed a little known form out of the shadow of radio. Also thanks for making jogging not so laborious.
